DC Trip Vlog Instruction

The National Context of Hunger, Poverty, and Homelessness—Class Trip to Washington, DC & Individual Video Blog: The lynchpin of this course for over 20 years has been a service and learning trip down to Washington, DC. This trip has taken different forms for various reasons, but past students have indicated overwhelmingly (and with virtually no dissent!) that this experience did the most to place the academic course content into a the context of lived human reality. We will meet with some memorable people and we will learn a great deal from them. Each student will choose one item from the itinerary of our trip and write and record a short Video Blog about the impact of that particular activity.
